Troubleshooting Guide

My feed isn't displaying, what can I do?

If you're confident that you've followed the steps for building a feed and things still aren't working, we recommend checking your Chrome console for any errors and reloading the page. You can do this by following these simple instructions:

  1. Open your Chrome browser.

  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect" from the context menu.

  3. In the Developer Tools panel that appears, click on the "Console" tab.

  4. Reload the page, and look for any error messages displayed in the console.

If you don't see any errors listed in the console, please try reviewing your whitelist and additional settings from inside your dashboard.

How can I hide a specific review or post from my feed?

The best way to target a specific post and hide it from your feed is to use our 'Exclude Keywords or Strings' feature from inside your feed settings. You can use this field to target specific posts by adding a string of words that match the post you want to hide.

How can I get help with FeedSpring?

You can chat with us directly on Discord, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. You can also submit a message through our contact form and or website chat and we will reply back to you within 2-3 business days.

How can I customise the timestamp?

By default your feed timestamps will display in a format like this: October 09, 2025. But you can easily adjust this format to something more suitable for your project.Learn about how to customise timestamps

Copying components isn't working

If you are having trouble copying components, please ensure that you are using a supported browser like Chrome, or Firefox. Unfortunately copying components will not work with Safari. If you are already using a supported browser, but still having issues, please try copying via incognito to rule out any browser cache related issues. If you are still having problems, please check your console inside of Chrome, and reach out to one of our friendly team members.

The text is too long on some posts, how can I make it consistent?

You can improve the consistency of your post by setting some simple line or charater limits via CSS. You can check the advanced section of your selected feed type to find information about adding this to your project.
